Trip to MRS (May Road school.

What?  

Today my class went to May Road. Everyone got really excited when they Miss saying that we were going to collaborate with May Road. At first I was scared but after I met them it turned out to be the best day.

So what?

The reason why we went over to May Road School, is to collaborate with them and help them with their genius hour projects.We played warm up games to introduce ourselves and see what we have in common with May Road.

Now what?

My next step is to not be shy and work with May Road because my whole group are only friends from HPS.

My Learning to Code.

What we learned about was how to code, on the website they told us to move ford, turn left, turn right. first of all I did not get the whole code thing , but with the help of my friends I was moving on and on.

We are learning this because we are going to meet May road school on Tuesday. Also there is a student called Arnav in May Road School he can build a stick man with codes. Building a stick man is pretty complicated and advanced.

My next steps are to unlock new levels and keep moving on and on. Also I want to learn how to make new games and apps because I like to play games and I want other people to have fun when they try out a game that I made.

My Online Code DLO.

In McCahon class we have been learning about coding. This DLO is about being Cyber smart and how to be safe on the internet.These are three things I learnt.
1.When you use other peoples writing you have to give the person credit
2.Quality comments and good comments are one of the nicest things to say online.
3.Don’t lie about yourself e.g do not lie about your age if it says how old are you.
